It's really important as a family to enjoy the outdoors and active together. Days out are great – but why not go further and stay under the stars? Take the kids camping!
Family Camping
With wildlife, like its neighbor, to-die-to admire the scenery and acres of space for children to run inside and make new friends, camping is a family adventure awesome. We have come a long way to simply throw an old tent in a sodden field. From yurts to castles, camping family is always fun, and my family The UK has chosen 10 of our favorites for you.
1) Clippesby Hall, Norfolk,

The amount proposed here is quite amazing: a lot of different areas, camping and hiking, to meet all requirements. Lodges and cottages are also available. You can rent a bike to go exploring or stay and make use of the outdoor heated pool, a soccer golf, mini golf, tennis, table tennis, and volleyball facilities. There is a fresh tree-house for a picnic and a family pub on the site, which is defined in the grounds of the hall itself.
2) Pinewoods Holiday Park Wells,
With its range of colored cabanas on a stretch on the north coast of Norfolk Heritage, the smell of pine and sea welcomes you to the family base. Camping in the coastal areas of soft, walking on the beach, or rent a bike and explore the forests Holkham Nature Reserve and the bosom of Abraham, one of the landlocked saltwater lagoons in the UK.
There is also a miniature train nest Drive for half a mile from the charming town of Wells-On-Sea, with many shops and bars.
3) Tantallon Caravan & Camping Park, North Berwick

Overlooking the waters of the Firth of Forth, the site offers stunning views of the course. But, all in a 14th century castle park, you will see the story! You can storm the battlements of Tantallon castle of his own tent or stay in a deluxe base camp cabins. Boat trips on the island of Bass Rock can be organized and you can also browse the Seabird Center Scotland overlooking the beach.
4) Bosworth Water Trust, Warwickshire
In Bosworth, families put their tents and caravans to park around a large lake where you can windsurf, sailing and canoeing to his heart content. There is 56 points, electric and all plots were demarcated to ensure an unlikely place for the family to expand. The site receives frequented in summer, and camping is available for families (and couples over 23) This is a great environment for young people to find new friends.
5) Larkhill Tipis, Carmarthenshire

You and your children can spend a weekend intended Sioux warriors in this corner of southwest Wales. You will stay in tepees furnished with sheepskin rugs, storage of logs, candles, and futons with lots of pillows and cushions. 6) Great Langdale, Lake District

Yurts more here but the garden setting is a focus on holiday in the low-impact environment. There are wood stoves, composting toilets and solar showers. But do not feel comfortable going green: four poster beds and continental breakfast on request. All sorts of outdoor activities, are the games for relaxing evenings.
Gate owl, Bodmin
This shift very British ethno-site currently in vogue (yurts, tepees and others), is great for a picnic under an umbrella with butterflies and wild flowers. You stay in the circus Bell-style tents on a site of self-contained including a shop, a fully furnished room (bed, quilts, Dresser) and a full kitchen with refrigerator, dishes and dining tables.
9) Three Cliffs Bay, Gower
Sometimes keeping it simple is the best there is no trick here, just a magnificent ocean view and beach. Horseshoe Bay in front of the field was once chosen as the best view in Wales. There are many walks along the cliffs, windsurfing, water skiing and a nature reserve of 540 hectares.
10) Snail Trail Camper VW
This not strictly a campsite, but the beauty of it. Battery in a retro VW Camper (modern reproductions of Brazil) and you and kids can walk everywhere in the United Kingdom. With your kitchen, pop-up roofs, i-Pod stations to connect and space for four, which is equipped for camping or any day. Each vehicle comes with a Camp & Caravanning Club Privilege Pack, paying fees to one of the sites of the club.
