What can I put in my cage for my parakeet to a nest of madke?
I have a male and female parakeet. my cage has a curved top so its hard to hang things or put a nest box there. What else can I do?
This is a great page for homemade toys for birds … Mabey try some of them … that are fun to make and fairly inexpensive (good luck .. smile) http://www.cheepparrottoysntips.com/ you might need another kind of cage, if you are trying to raise them … You can find the cages in the Pennysaver here but not sure where you are in … try the local thrift shop … If you get a second hand cleaned with bleach and rinse well, then rinse again just to be sure and let it dry for a while … then introduce the new cage slowly … sometimes freaks em 'to be in a new space … if you freak out then put the cage next to his cage for a while then put them into the interior after the familure with it …. Hope this helps .. I would recommend the straw in the bottom corner could not hurt yarn with yarn and straw is natursal … I could only do NEast Teir own if they are ready to breed smile …..
