What should I do if my bird is afraid of his cage cover?
I recently bought a canary and put a lid on the box but it was freaking around. Is this normal? Is it the calm once you get used to it? Or should I remove the cage?
Make sure you have the light on when you start to put the lid of the cage. Line bottom and sides first and let slow himget used to cover. It is not clear in the sudden darkness and fear of not knowing what will happen to him in the dark.
