We will be touring the Denver Zoo’s avian exhibits! A big thank you to Barbara van den Arend for arranging this event! Details will be discussed at the May meeting and also will be posted on the web site. We will need a count of people planning to attend so please RSVP to paynemarjorie@msn.com or 303-783-0221 if you are planning to attend.

This will be our summer visit to The Gabriel Foundation’s aviary in Elizabeth, Colorado. This year the plan is to picnic with our parrots in one of TGF’s huge outdoor flights. This will provide an opportunity to work with your flighted birds out doors. Watch CARI’s website for specifics on health papers required for any personal birds we take to the aviary. We will need to know in advance how many people will be bringing their birds to this event and there will be a fee for those bringing their birds.

More Meeting Information
In general birds should only be brought to meetings by members.
The birds need to have seen a vet in the past year and declared healthy.
Thank you for your compliance with this for the health of all our birds.
